Peanut Butter Banana Bread Chocolate Truffles

The other day I was playing around with a few different recipes and discovered an amazing combination of deliciousness:

PEANUT BUTTER BANANA BREAD CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES

The idea was sparked from this Pinterest post

Here is the way I like to make them:

INGREDIENTS

3 ripe bananas
1/3 cup melted butter
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon banana extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups flour
6 oz. cream cheese
10 oz. semi sweet chocolate

INGREDIENTS

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 F

Step 2: Mash bananas in a bowl
SIDE NOTE: If you don't have ripe bananas but you're still craving banana bread you can put the bananas on a baking sheet and put them in the oven at 450 F until ripe.

Step 3: Mix in all the other ingredients (flower and peanut butter last)
SIDE NOTE 1: peanut butter is optional and the taste is mild so add more if you want a stronger taste.
SIDE NOTE 2: I say banana extract in the ingredients but if you don't have that vanilla extract will work just fine.

Step 4: Bake for about 1 hour

Step 5: Once bread is room temperature smash with your hands into a bowl until the bread is nothing but crumbs.

Step 6: Mix in the 6 oz. of cream cheese until similar consistency.

Step 7: Melt the chocolate in a dip-ready bowl.

Step 8: Once you have rolled the banana bread into balls (1-2 in in diameter) dip them in the chocolate with a spoon or toothpick and put the finished product in the fridge to dry.
